Meridyth Espindola is a graphic designer and fine artist from Fairhaven, Massachusetts. She is graduating this May with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design and a Minor in Business Administration. Her background, a traditional training in Fine Arts, was developed during her studies at La Scuola Lorenzo de ‘Medici in Florence, Italy, and continues to influence her approach to graphic design to this day. Her professional experience has included internships in the past with Peter Arnell of the former Arnell Studios, Friends of the Mattapoisett Rail Trail, Lighthouse Media Solutions, and her current position at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth Center for Marketing Research. After graduation, Meridyth will begin an apprenticeship with Robinson Press in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she will work alongside graphic designer and letterpress operator Rachel Robinson. Her future goals include studying for a Master’s degree in typography, opening a letterpress studio of her own, and helping future graphic design students find their way by teaching at the college level.
