Yulin Wu is a designer and photographer working in both print and digital and has studied at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Nature and organic shapes are the cornerstone of her work as well as muted color and transparency. Her Asian heritage and the visual aesthetic and concept of wabi-sabi (acceptance of transience and the beauty of imperfection) has greatly shaped and inspired her work. Additionally as an artist and designer, she is interested in minimalist surface design influenced by the writings of Kenya Hara on functionality, comfort and convenience in design.
