Monica Lopes is a Digital Media student with an Art History minor at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Born to parents who come from Portugal and Brazil, she was brought up in a family rich in culture, also learning the Portuguese language and history at a young age. She is a resident of Southeastern Massachusetts.
Enthralled by animated films and Japanese anime, they inspired her to discover her own artistic talent, which she developed throughout her time in school. It became cemented early on that art and creation were a fundamental part of her and that this would be the path she would take into the future.
In her free time she enjoys playing piano, reading, and breaking into the occasional Disney song.
