Johnus Derby is a designer and researcher living on the South Shore of Massachusetts. He has experience and interest in both traditional and digital medias, including photography, printmaking, graphic design and multimedia works both 3D and 2D. Projects he is involved with explore the implications and possibilities of technology and new media, as well as how these can relate to traditional techniques. He is especially drawn to generative and speculative arts, and traditional styles of various cultures. In addition to research and design, Johnus does network administration and computer maintenance in the Air Force. Currently he is finishing up BFA degrees in Graphic Design and Digital Media with a focus in history.
