My name is Damian Mateus, I am from South Attleboro, MA, and I have been doing art almost my entire life. I started off drawing cartoons in elementary school, then as I got older, those cartoons got more detailed and more comically violent. I found that was what made my friends laugh, so I stuck with it. Strange humor and cartoon violence has been my main focus in all mediums I work in. I go to school for 2D and 3D animation, but I also enjoy doing illustration, working with clay and even painting. Because I am rounded in many mediums, I try to work all of my skills into everything I do. Some day I would like to experiment with 3D mixed with 2D animation to make more interesting and lifelike animations.
